Current Analyst Recommendations:

On a scale where 1 is a "strong buy," and 5 is a "sell," the analyst consensus on Enphase is currently at 1.9. This makes INTU a "buy." With a current price of $540.58 and an average price target of $548.12 and a high of $615,  we view INTU closer to a "strong buy" considering its recent performance and history.

Quarterly Revenue Growth Year-Over-Year: 12.3%. The Dubya Dubya team traditionally would love to see a higher number here, but this growth is still worth noting, especially with a company of this size and maturity.

Insiders: This is a weak spot. The Dubya Dubya team likes our companies to have significant insider holdings, and insiders hold only 2.88% of shares in INTU. Vanguard Group owns the largest amount of shares at 9%.

What makes Intuit (INTU) worth your hard-earned money for the next decade or more?

Intuit offers solutions for the finance and business world, whether you are a huge company or a small "mom and pop." Their products include TurboTax, Quicken, QuickBook, and Mint.com to name a few. They have customers on four continents, and over 10,000 employees worldwide. Their mission statement is "to power prosperity around the world", and given how many orgs faithfully rely on their products, so far this has been a mission accomplished.

Why talk about Intuit (INTU) to all your friends and family?

You probably already are in some capacity. If you have ever discussed Credit Karma, direct deposit, e-filing your taxes, using a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, or sending an ACH payment, then you have talked about Intuit. In 1988, founder Scott Cook wanted the company to focus so much on customer service that customers would become apostles, telling their family and friends all about Quicken, Intuit, and other products. With INTU's influence on so many sectors, it appears that Cook's message was quite prophetic.

How is this company disruptive?

Rather than tell you what they are doing, let's take a look at what they have done. They are disruptive because they have had to be for the last 40 years. Intuit was launched in 1983. A year later they introduced Quicken. By 1991, they were doing $55 million in sales. In 1993 they went public, and spent $243 million to purchase ChipSoft. This allowed customers to file tax returns electronically. In 1999 Intuit introduced Quickbooks Online Payroll service, allowing users to connect with banks and tax agencies. By 2018, they were doing $5 billion in annual revenue. As they’ve continued to steadily grow this revenue year over year, they are a proven performer and worth your investment.

Conclusion:

Intuit has proven the ability time and time again to adapt and grow with a changing market, the introduction of the internet, and technology that is constantly advancing. You likely already use their products. Now it’s time to take part in their growth.

A Unique Warmth to Draw You in

We all know the type: That bourbon-loving buddy of yours who can’t bring themselves to even try one of your scotches. From “It’s too dry and peaty” to “Why would you spend money on distilled iodine?” to “I can’t even pronounce this name,” we’ve heard countless excuses for why scotches are not their thing. In the same vein, how many friends of ours have become so hooked on Scottish spirits that they can’t stoop their taste buds enough to try anything from an American distillery?

At Dubya Dubya, we believe whiskey is a communal drink. It brings people together, and lets them share tasting notes after a long day of… not tasting whiskey. In this spirit, meet one of the longtime favorites of the Dubya Dubya crew: High West Campfire. This unique blend of bourbon, spicy rye, and peated scotch is the perfect way to bridge divides among your whiskey-loving friends. As Wine Enthusiast said: "gift a bottle to a Scotch lover to introduce the joys of American whiskeys." Cheers!

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Sweet corn for the bourbon lovers, and peat smoke for the scotch devotees. These scents blend together in a caramel mix that’s hard to resist.

Palate: Like you took vanilla and orange cream through a smoker, but somehow created a balanced dessert instead of a royal mess.

Finish: Here the peat smoke takes over, but gives you just enough brown sugar and mapley sweetness to charm the wary. Truly a unique dram worth the price.

Score – 4/5
